Frequently Asked Questions

Can I arrange to pick up my dog after hours or when you are closed?
We do not allow pick-up after hours.
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before closing when picking up or dropping off. It takes time to ensure your dog has been cared for before we leave.
If you arrive less than 5 minutes before closing, you will be charged a one-time fee of $10.  This pays our employees for the extra time they will spend after hours.
How far in advance do I need to make my reservations?
We recommend booking at least two weeks prior to your drop off date. This will allow enough time for us to receive updated vaccine records if needed. For holidays, we advise booking 1 month ahead to ensure we have availability.   Of course, we accept last minute reservations if we have openings!
What happens if my animal gets sick?
If your dog falls ill during their boarding stay we will seek veterinary care.  We will use our on-call vet or the closest available vet. If needed we will contact your designated veterinarian, however, we will only visit vet clinics within a ten-mile radius. All costs will be payable by the owner upon their return.  Our employees will try to contact the owner and/or the emergency contact listed so be sure your contact and vet information is up to date on the customer portal.  Your emergency contact should be someone in town who is able to pick up your dog!
What if I do not make it back in time to pick up my pet?
If this is over a holiday period, you will only be able to pick up during open days/hours. We do not allow after hours pick up.

Always contact the office if you are unable to pick up on your scheduled check out date so we can modify your booking!  In the event we are full the following day, you or your emergency contact will be notified for pick up.  If we are unable to get ahold of you or your emergency contact and have no room available to board your dog in a kennel, your dog may have to be crated overnight and a $50- NO CONTACT fee will be added to your bill per day.
Do you have any breed restrictions?
We do not have any breed restrictions.  We are unable to accept dogs that show aggression toward our staff.  For this reason, if you have never boarded with us before we recommend a day of daycare before leaving your pet for an extended period of time.
